Natalie Lobel is a chef and writer who grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. She is based in Brooklyn, New York.
As a chef, she apprenticed in Italy, trained in a variety of kitchens in Los Angeles, and started The Nosh Department in 2015. Originally a hobby, writing became more integral to her life after she joined The Wimpole Street Writers. She currently calls New York home, while combining her love for words and the wooden spoon.
Her work has been published in numerous online publications including the Los Angeles Times and the Huffington Post. Currently she writes the recipe section for Dumbo Living.
